The Indian Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (IACP) registered under sec 10 of the Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 1975 is a national organization whose mission is to serve its member colleges and their respective faculties, by acting as their advocate at the national level, by providing forums for interaction and exchange of information among its members, by recognizing outstanding performance among its member edu-cators and by assisting member colleges and schools in meeting their mission of edu-cating and training pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists.
The association shall provide leadership in advancing and enhancing the quality of Pharmacy education and training in its member colleges. IACP also understands that academic pharmacy plays an important role in and shares responsibility with the broad-er profession of pharmacy.
The managing committee of this association consists of the following office bearers - President, Vice President, Executive Director cum Secretary (ex officio), Treasurer and Committee members who will manage the affairs of the association. The association shall hold one regular annual meeting of the House of Delegates at a time & place to be determined by the Board of Directors. During each annual meeting of the association, there shall be atleast one general session open to all individual members & visitors.
In carrying out its responsibilities, the association shall respect professionalism among its staff, the important role of volunteer members in its operations, and a democratic approach to the resolution of issues and establishment of policies as provided by the Byelaws.
