Institutional Members shall be either Regular, Associate, or Affiliate. There may also be Organizational and Corporate Members.

  • Regular

    Regular institutional membership shall be restricted to colleges or schools of pharmacy that are established with the approval of the state government and approved by Pharmacy council of India and other statutory bodies that may be required by the laws of the country. Membership requires the approval of the House of Delegates. Regular institutional members may be represented by two voting delegates in the House of Delegates, one serving as an administrative delegate and one as a faculty delegate.

  • Associate

    Associate institutional membership shall be restricted to colleges and schools of pharmacy that have been granted permission to conduct the pharmacy programme by the Pharmacy council of India. Associate institutional members may appoint one non-voting delegate to the House of Delegates and will not be eligible to hold elective office in the Associa-tion.Membership requires the approval of the House of Delegates.

  • Affiliate

    Affiliate institutional membership shall be available to any other academic institution not otherwise eligible for regular or associate institutional membership. Affiliate institutional members may appoint one non-voting delegate to the House of Delegates. Representatives from affiliate institutional member shall have the right to participate in the Association's meetings and activities, but they shall not have the right to vote or to hold elective office in the Association.

  • Organizational Membership

    Organizational membership shall be available to pharmacy associations, associations of other health disciplines, agencies of the government of India and state governments and other non-profit organizations. Organisational members may appoint one non-voting dele-gate to the House of Delegates and shall not have the right to hold elective office in the Association. Membership requires the approval of the House of Delegates.

  • Corporate Membership

    Corporate membership shall be available to for-profit companies interested in advancing pharmaceutical education and research. Corporate members may appoint one non-voting delegate to the House of Delegates and shall not have the right to hold elective office in the Association. Membership requires the approval of the House of Delegates.
